📌 What is the Sainik School Exam All About?
The All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into Class 6 and Class 9. These schools are designed to prepare students for a future in the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other defence services.
This exam isn’t just about academics — it’s about discipline, personality, and potential.
📚 What’s Asked in the Exam?

🧠 How to Prepare Smartly – Not Just Hard
✅ Start Early:
Ideally, students should start preparing at least 6–9 months before the exam. A slow and steady pace is better than a last-minute rush.✅ Daily Routine:
A balanced study schedule that covers Maths, English, GK, and Reasoning daily is the key. Even 3–4 hours a day with full concentration is enough.✅ Mock Tests are a Must:
Solve previous year papers and take weekly mock tests to track your performance and build exam confidence.✅ Revise Regularly:
Most students study a lot, but forget to revise. Keep one day a week just for revision and practice.✅ Stay Updated:
For GK and current affairs, encourage students to read newspapers, watch the news, or follow YouTube GK videos.
✍️ Pro Tip for Parents
"Support matters more than pressure."
Keep your child motivated, disciplined, and mentally relaxed. Don't force long study hours — instead, encourage consistency.
Also, keep track of your child’s mock test performance and help them stay positive even if they make mistakes. It’s part of the learning process.
